What would you like to see on BOS 2005?

That wasn't what I meant. I've posted on several message boards, and I know how much the newer users care about their post count, no matter what the board is about. As you go on, you care less and less. Just pointing something out, take it how you will. I_F

    School Concern

Maths/Maths Extension 1/Maths Extension 2 and English/English Extension 1 are all considered as different courses, aren't they? Anyways, UAI is not determined by what school you go to - it is a ranking against all the other people who did the HSC that year. Although going to a "less lazy"...

    Help Speeches!!

Google is generally a good place to start. Plug in your search terms (Abraham Lincoln) and off you go. Another good online resource is Wikipedia, an online encyclopaedia. Use both these to search for information about Lincoln, and the Gettysburg Address, and you should find the stuff you want...

N00b LCD question and USB question

You should shop around for an LCD monitor that has a VGA input. If all else fails and you can't find one (unlikely, but possible), you can get a DVI to VGA connector like one of these to bridge the connectors. I_F

    help me fix the ipod

Grab the latest iPod updater. Connect the iPod to your computer, execute the Updater, and follow the prompts. That should restore it to factory settings. I'm not 100% positive it'll help you with your reformatted iPod, but it's the best I can come up with. I hope you get it fixed soon. :(...

    New PC

Tom's Hardware is an excellent site for computer hardware as MedNez suggested. :) Recommendations for PC spec lines will differ depending on who you ask. Plus, for an absolute "killer" system, you'll be looking at expending well over $3,000, possibly more depending on your peripherals set...

Link to place on same page

It would probably be better to type it in HTML view - using the "a name" tag doesn't actually appear on the page (it's invisible unless you view the page source).

    'Gifted and Talented People'

I went to a longer residential camp at UNSW, and from my experience, practically no one is a massive "show off" - the general atmosphere is pretty much your normal school atmosphere, minus all the idiotic twats who annoy everyone. These programs aren't competitions as to how intelligent you are...

School Certificate Mandatory science assessment help

If you're talking about the "conduct your own experiment", a popular topic is to test the growth of plants when you change variable X - the light, the soil, the fertiliser, the type of pollutant in the soil, etc. Keep in mind that you're not judged on whether your plants actually grow or...

    Laptop Recs

If you're networking, go with XP. Generally, Mac laptops are more expensive than their Windows counterparts even though their build quality, style, and stability is quite excellent (Windows also cannot beat the iLife suite of applications). Plus, Mac laptops feature technology a generation or so...
