i agree. you might as well start it and if you cant be bothered doing you major woork then quit. i heard 4u doesnt take that long and then your free. others freak over it. people at my school in yr 11 have already done drafts for their major work yr 12 and now all they do next year is go over...

at our school they say scaling is only an issue once you get under a band 5. that when scaling takes its toll. biology hasnt got a cap it just that naturally the dumber kids pick it while the smarter ones do chem and phys. thats why generally the marks are lower.

yes its a memory game. but as people say: concepts are vital.

Re: 2008SC SC Results ~ eeek! geo is the only one i underestimated. i knew i got 2 mc wrong so i was expecting mid 80's as i was iffy with the test......i got 98. :spin: but in science....easiest test ive ever done and i get 94....which is great but i was just thinking they may have mixed...

Re: 2008SC SC Results ~ that is really unfair.........and the term DUX is in direct relation to your actual mark. our school doesnt have a dux or anything like that. i feel for ya...........and i hate it when teachers say they are equal to every1 and they clearly arnt......even the ones...

Re: 2008SC SC Results ~ Nice Crosswinds. Everyone here goes great but i just would hate to think what most of the other "less fortunate" candidates are recieving. coz like only 4-5k band 6's are given out for each section compared to 20,000-30,000 band 3's and 4's. eek.....
