I did extension English for a while, and I hated it. It's not that extension english is harder than advanced, it's that you have to LOVE english to do it. I don't particularly like english and i chose it based on scaling - therefore I ended up dropping it. So only choose it if you like english.

Exactly. A school with a high ranking does not guarantee you a better UAI than someone at a lower ranked school. School only affects you by the level of commitment your peers have, the quality of teaching and your ranking (i.e if you go to a lower ranked school, you have to be ranked Top 5...

Re: Recommended Texbooks/Study Guides? Yeah, but the questions aren't as good as those in books like Fitzpatrick. Also you can buy extra worked solutions for books like Coroneous (or be like me and borrow them off the library).

I've done that before, and nothing happened to me. I do take them off, but I like to eat while watching TV, so I'd prefer to have my glasses on.
