    Bridging Courses - You Bastards!

I think that there might have been a few things that you learnt in those two years though. I know nothing beyond general knowledge - I can't even do a chemical equation, and I don't really know what one is anyway. So yeah, maybe bridging course ahoy! :p

    So who got an offer?

Ursies != Bruce and/or B&G! If you applied, they'll give you somewhere to stay. Just call them up, say hi UAS, my name is cherryblossom from Wagga Wagga, can I have my application number to check if you screwed up? Be warned, if you did, you'll be hearing ALOT more of me!

    So who got an offer?

You can check here: http://asp.anu.edu.au/AppStatus.asp Locals as in people living in Australia, the only person who's posted and said that they were accepted to Bruce (or BG) was an international.

    So who got an offer?

Accept your offer? :) I haven't seen any locals saying that they've been accepted into Bruce or B/G, so just call them if you're worried. If you annoy them enough over the phone, they have to give you a straight answer.

    Bridging Courses - You Bastards!

I'm sorry for not doing chemistry in highschool, but do you really have to punish me by taking away O-Week? :( Has anyone here done chemistry at ANU? Do the lecturers throw you into the proverbial deep end or do you think that a 5 day course is a must to prepare for chemistry? The only people...

    O Week 2006 - The Program

College O-weeks are usually better, so don't worry. I know Bruce at least makes sure that there are some events for <18's.

    Internal Transfer

I picked up science (on time) and got my acceptance and acknowledgement in the mail on the same day at the start of the holidays. You probably should call ANU.

UNSW Combined Law DFEE. I didn't notice the DFEE for about 10 minutes .

    So who got an offer?

96.5 :(. I wouldn't worry about it though, since you DID say that the BA was what you really wanted to do! Besides, with your UAI it wouldn't be too hard to transfer into law at the end of the year, if you wanted to.

How are the buses in Canberra?

Yeah, but BG and Fenner are self catered. Cleaning doesn't do washing (I wouldn't let them touch my clothing if they did :p). They come by once a week, empty your bin, vacuum and disrupt what you're doing. It's a cloaked room inspection.

How are the buses in Canberra?

At Bruce we have a normal size fridge to each floor, since it's catered we don't need to store much besides booze anyway. I left my laundry basket at my exes house, of all places.

    Rankings of Unis

I'd like to think that the Times rankings are a little more accurate than the SJTU rankings, purely based on the fact that US universities seem to be completely overrepresented in the top 100. Either way though I think that the only telling thing about these surveys is that the major Australian...

How are the buses in Canberra?

Don't bother getting a bar fridge, all you'll use it for is beer, and that can go in communal fridges. I got mine for free at the end of the year from someone who was graduating, do the same!

1st year Q: How much will this bitch cost?

It really depends upon what subjects you do. For example, science textbooks are good value for money. They have nice hard covers, nice illustrations and they're the kind of books that you'll use for ages. The same goes for languages. If you're doing law on the other hand, you can sometimes get...

UNSW commerce -- approx. how many students??

If you're hiring an entire indoor sports hall it seems reasonable, it'd be rather dumb if they didn't have free or cheap courts outside though. Could you please link me to where those prices are listed? I want to check out the cost of hiring tennis courts :p
