    A few questions about UTS...

I don't think there is a download limit. There may be a time limit for wireless connectivity though- I'm not sure, you'll have to check that one out on the wireless page/Jasee =)

    Help with Prefs!!

Btw if the Ku-ring-gai campus is sold to land developers.. all of the students will probably be transferred to the city. As a resident in the area I am against this idea though (high rise development etc.)

    B Business B computing

Well... The B Business B Computing is a four year course; whereas the B Business course is a three year course- there is greater demand (student application wise) in the second. Think about it this way- people don't want to spend another year wasted in uni over entry into the workforce...

    General UTS chit-chat

Re: The UTS 'Secks and Results Time' Thread Hmm.. looks like everyone is getting them. I have the spam filter on though (the second highest level I believe), but some still go though once in a while. I get about 2-3 each day as well =/

    Help with Prefs!!

I agree with Kami- taking the Ku-ring-gai course means: - You are not wasting money on extra subjects, because UTS may not accept all credit points if you enter into Arts on Organisational Learning. Doing one year at UTS at Ku-ring-gai is the same as doing it in the city (subjects are not...

    A few questions about UTS...

Vice Chancellors week is one week break in the middle of each semester. Faculties such as IT have a non-teaching week next to it so that makes two weeks (does not apply to all faculties- such as business). The online timetable shows the days and times that we can choose from in...

B business B computing or BBA with BIT?

B Business/B Computing - UTS: As a student of the former, I can say UTS provides a practical course which allows you to choose a major of what you really want to do (accounting, finance, marketing etc.); also the computing at UTS is more a practical/fundamental course- which allows you to chose...

Is BBus/BSci (IT) same as BBus/BComp?

    A) The B Bus/B Comp degree was renamed the B Bus B Sc(IT) as of 2007. There are a couple of changes in regards to coursework- discussion about it can be viewed @ http://community.boredofstudies.org/591/general-university-technology-sydney/127761/buscomp-dead-bbusbscit.html B) Difference...

    A few questions about UTS...

In some subjects the lecture notes will be sold in the union shop for around $10-$20 depending on the subject. Saves you time and printing costs =)

Spammer =O You were the one posting like 10 questions and like lecture summaries on there I think? There was alot of helpful stuff on there though, except the debate on why the MPO final shouldn't be 50% out of the 40 mc questions. IBM Chief Technological Officer for you =) Cheers.

    A few questions about UTS...

In terms of careers expos/fairs they would normally appear on this website: http://www.ssu.uts.edu.au/careers/index.html otherwise known as the SSU Careers Service. It is also pretty easy to drop into Level 3 where the careers service staff can help you.

    A few questions about UTS...

I don't think I've tried saving things onto hard drives outside the IT labs. I'm not sure if we even have hard disk space. Solution to that is a <$100 stick usb key. There is certainly hard disk space on the IT labs though. You have to be an IT student to benefit from these though i.e. other...
