Which tutoring centers are best for these subjects?

My experience at Matrix was great! Although some people have had average experiences, personally I never really had a bad tutor at all. I had maybe like 1 average one but that's about it.

Which tutoring centers are best for these subjects?

Math and Chem is different. You go to tutoring for those NOT because you want feedback but because you need someone to explain the concepts better and give you better practice of the questions and/or accelerate you which is fine done in a class. English you need someone to JUST focus on you. So...

Which tutoring centers are best for these subjects?

I did private. I think private is probably better than a class just because you need someone to focus on just your essay and give you extensive feedback. If there's a whole class then it's literally like your school. What's the point?

Which tutoring centers are best for these subjects?

If you totally hate English like me and never studied for it up until year 12 then it probably would be necessary. Because I hated it so much tutoring kind of pushed me to work on it harder I guess. Keep in mind though I was years behind, I literally didn't even know what a metaphor was until I...

I am no longer interested in Biology.....

Also sometimes you gotta just realise you may not like the subject but still have to study for it. I always hated English but I still studied hard for it in year 12 because I didn't want to screw up my atar. I didn't like studying it at all but my motivation to at least get a band 5 in it so it...

    year 11; organisation

Anything you prefer! Imo a laptop is always better because you can quickly search for whatever term it is that your looking for whereas a book will take you time.

Note Taking Opinions for Year 11 (Writing digitally on iPad vs on paper)

Yep Jazz pretty much summed it up. For a lot of subjects you probably don't even need to write notes imo. I actually never wrote notes for any of my subjects in the HSC except for English. I found that just reading directly from the textbook was good enough.

posting this due to panic lol srsly help

Yeah they do but it's at a much faster pace than what Ext 1 or 2 math is taught in high school. First year math in uni pretty much starts at the Ext 2 level so people who did just 2u maths tend to struggle.

Do they allow you to use “reversing the step” in the HSC? (Nature of proof)

Don't even get me started on that. My friends and I have been arguing about the Epsilon Delta crap for 3 trimesters now.

Do they allow you to use “reversing the step” in the HSC? (Nature of proof)

Yeah you must re-write the whole thing or you can lose marks. It is time consuming but sometimes it actually helps believe it or not. Some questions are really hard and you just don't know where to start so by working backwards you can figure it out. However yes first try the Proof by...

Do they allow you to use “reversing the step” in the HSC? (Nature of proof)

Yeah you are not allowed to do that. Quote from my tutor when I was in 4u "Assumptions that are mathematically incorrect CAN lead to results that are mathematically correct." Instead what you should do if you really want to work backwards is use a Proof by Contradiction. So instead start by...
