    Studying for an "ugly" subject

No, no! I love maths! It's just most of the 3 unit topics - perms, parametric ugh gross English isn't bad. I just hate how it's so subjective to the reader! So far I've had one task and that was creative writing which I received 13/15 for, so that's what's keeping me motivated.

How long should it take to make notes?

Do you think so? I'm doping notes for physics - and taking SO SO MUCH longer than I thought. I'm even considering using someone else's notes, something which I never do, because I can't be sure of quality :L

    Romulus, My Father

What a great autobiographical memoir! No, honestly, Raimond Gaita is pure genius. A great bloke to talk to as well, if you ever get the chance to have a chat. Well, thanks to Board of Studies for ruining such a great novel. I've bored myself out of wits trying to write essays, answer...

    Studying for an "ugly" subject

Hi y'all. Everyone has their "ugly" subject, the one that you hate studying, usually the one you do worst in. I was just wondering how does everyone keep motivated to study for their ugly subject? For me, I'm finding 3 unit math to be my ugly subject (I do 4 units math :L). Don't get me wrong...

    Printing

I know binding at officeworks is really cheap, I think around $4ish. Printing, honestly best place to get your notes printed - parents workplace. If your parents workplace doesn't provide printing, then ask a friend - it'll save you quite a bit of money.

How long should it take to make notes?

What I'm planning to do is: write out a detailed set of notes (hopefully finish them these holidays), and when trials are closer, write out VERY EXTREMELY summarised notes to refer to.

    Study help/tips

I'm completing any questions from my past homework that I couldn't do, and doing exercises from a text book related to the topics being covered on the test, with some past HSC questions in between. Tomorrow is my first 4 unit test, so task 1.

    Extention 2 Maths

I know there have been a lot of threads about this, but I wanted to see if anyone had any new opinions. I am currently in year 12, studying 4 unit maths. How much studying should I be doing? Right now, I only complete the prescribed homework and attend tutoring. Should I be doing more? Same...

    Study help/tips

If you're anything like me, you've got some kind of motivation, but it's easily distracted by anything that's not work. This new term, I've been having a very hard time focusing and trying to study. I realised I NEED to study, seeing as I'm doing all difficult subjects (4u maths, adv eng...

    Romulus my father helpp.

Here's a list of some madness quotes and incidents. We had to do a task in class with the themes Kat92 mentioned above. If someone can help deconstruct these, and relate them to belonging - that would be the bestest thing ever (for everybody). • Pg 89 - [Hora to Mitru] "'How can you let...
