hmmm. basically i would avoid repeating the hsc, waste of time that might not guarantee you get in... i would also try and steer clear of tafe, cause alot of the time the diploma's or whatever take a while to finish, you might not get full credit anyway, AND uni's regard a year of university...

haha yeah exactly my situation. im definately retarded when it comes to maths and physics... dont ask me why i chose engineering, but yeah its my fault ... im only whinging cause i know this now and wish i had've known it last year :p sigh.

hmm, it sucks that they dont look at the difficulties of the subjects... my gpa got fucked in the arse by maths modelling and physical modelling in semester one. i only passed these subjects .... but there were so damn hard (well especially for me cause im not really a math/science nerd). haha oh god this show is hilarious :o i ended up watching it when i was sick a while back. so depressing and lame ... but yes, semi-addictive. Really, the only genuinly nice girls (ie. not self obsessed) on the whole show are Taylor and Alex(Kristens friend, not the other one).

umm, the business of looking at marks will be based just on the tafe part. but as far as i know there's no special thing where you get more marks or whatever for the work experience... the work experience part is what you talk about in your personal statement, and add supporting documentation if...

i think the point he's trying to make is a good one ... that here in Aus engineering is pretty much a self regulating proffession with no 'official' registration scheme (like other proffesions like med, achitecture ...etc.) Basically all Engineers have to go buy is the shitty IEAust code of...
