Tell the teacher if you feel guilty. You're honesty will put you in their good books anyway, and in the future they will be subconsciously aware of what you did and will favour you when marking.

We did Romulus last year, for Belonging, which althought is quite boring, it has some good content. I'm also just finishing up Blade Runner / Frankenstein, which is much more interesting and easy to talk about.
