You can do it through TAFE or oten, or you can do it via other distance learning schools in NSW

I have friends who did 4u maths and they still find engineering hard... 2u and 3u maths in not enough to cope with engineering at all.

Definitely UNSW B Comm. UNSW is reputable for its business degree. There are also more networking opportunities in UNSW with the top firms compared to UTS, UTS is not known for its business degrees. It's more known for engineering, fashion design etc

In Asian countries it works the opposite way, the bright ones also go into teaching. And teachers at selective schools need to have at least a masters degree or honours in order to be employed.

You're still in year 11 , you still have hope. Start right now. Go back to the basics and work your way up. Start from textbook questions and then do HSC past papers and trial papers.

Just keep it. Ext 1 maths scales well compared to your other subjects. There's a friend who dropped ext 1 maths, and during the HSC, stuffed up one of the subjects in the 10 units and got a really bad atar. If that person were to keep ext 1 maths, their atar would be far better than the atar...

If its inconvenient for you, TRANSFER. In the end it's taking advantage of what's available for you in uni. Also, both USYD and UNSW are more reputable unis, and since you live closer to them, there is nothing to loose to transfer.

I agree with this. The HSC is already a minor competition on the whole scale of life, if you can't even cope with this, then how do you cope with even more vicious and fierce competition in the future such as fighting for positions to get into the top company, gaining HDs in top universities...
