I'm already missing it! I finished yesterday so my friend and I decided to go play handball with the year 7s for old time's sake haha. Every time I walk through the school I have so many people come up to me and ask me how I'm going. Kind of wish I could repeat year 12 (excluding the exams).
Yeah, that's what I thought but they were saying it wasn't really allowed. But under these circumstances it should have been fine.
EDIT: Ah ok, cem has cleared it up =D
For the question about why add barium sulfate, I said that it would turn the solution to a whitish colour and make it easier to see the colour changes in the indicator. Is that even remotely correct?
My school had the exact same thing happen for IT. They only sent 5 and we had 8 people or something. So they just photocopied the paper, which I'm not even sure if they're allowed to do... :\
I too had about 900kg or something like that. I was actually wondering in the exam "1 tonne is 1000kg... right??", so I just did it all in tonnes and got 0.9xxxxx tonnes or something.
I had less than 3 hours of sleep. I think it was due to the excitement of finishing. I just COULD NOT sleep and...

Q14, multichoice
20mL of 0.08 mol L-1 HCl is mixed with 30mL of 0.05 mol L-1 NaOH.
What is the pH of the resultant solution
So I found the n of moles for HCl and NaOH using n = c*v. I then found the different. H+ is in excess.
I'm now such at:
c(excess HCl) =...
Ok, so in one book I've used the refluxing apparatus for esterification is directed downwards towards the floor, however, in a multichoice question in my success one book, it says it must be completely vertical. Does it really matter? If so, why?
I've been doing similar for my subjects. Definitely a great plan of attack. Each essay and short answer question I've written a plan (unless it's 1/2 marks haha)
Is this enough for the essays and such? (in relation to the statistics that have been posted)
I have statistics over many years (at least to 2000, or further in some topics). Is that too much? Should we just have the most recent statistics and general trends over the past years (without numeric...
Worked hard in year 11 and it paid off. Concepts in math, extension math, chem, IPT, IT, etc, stuck with my longer than it did with those who didn't really work consistently throughout the year. Although they were getting high marks in year 11 with minimal effort, in the long run I've found...
