Depends how long the study is?
3-6 hours is normal for MOST high atar students, high as in 99+ and obviously there are those smart people that do 2-3 hours a day and still end up with 99.9
But overall Study Smart is the way to go, smart plus long is just win win
He probably failed his interview big time
Most get in the 99s with 85th percentile or above and a very good interview
This is in no way official information and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Yeah that's one of the main things which is missing and it's missing no matter which thread you post in, and yeah it's pretty good, nice, clean, fast, reliable (mostly anyway, does get some errors).
one of my friends with a high atar doing Law/Arts was getting owned by some with a 82atar or something doing just arts for some subjects, so a high ATAR doesn't mean you're overall smarter than anyone, you might get shot down some day in uni
Plenty of notes here:

Study them and that's it, you'll be fine.
I've had one of my trial questions ask for 2, and apparently they can ask up to 3, so have atleast 2 prepared... and with some they may say "Atleast 1" so just use 1
Get yourself banned from bos, cut the internet wires, and that's most of your problem solved, then you're left with nothing to do so you may as well study... it works.
