SC English creative writing - using jargons

I really doubt that you will lose marks but the creative piece will sound a lot more convincing! And that could lead to another mark or so :)

    Urgent! History and geography

I'm pretty sure that the extended response and short answer (5 marks questions) for History will be on the stuff that you have a choice about in the syllabus (e.g. Prime Minister, Decade, Migrants/Women) and the stuff that Everybody in the entire state does (e.g. Aborigines) will be in the...

My Subject Selection (yes another one)

Don't worry about scaling. Its seriously minimal. If you are terrible at the subjects (less that 50%) then your marks get even lower but if you are above 50%, then your marks may get a little better. So really, if you do good you good, if you do bad you do bad. Nice subjects.

Studying? ATAR of 95+ still possible?

Some form of study timetable would be helpful. I get marks like yours but I'm aiming for 98 ATAR (even though I've got two years until HSC). Don't leave anything until last minute. And also do all the homework EARLY and yeah. For notes: make notes early. After you come home from school or at...

    Maths ATAR Problem

Is that like 15%? Wow. If you had studied (hard and diligently) and did the homework and stuffs, then you could be able to scrape a 50 for the HSC. Although I can tell you that unless you act quickly, your ATAR will suffer if you are doing only 10/11 units. Best of luck.

Books that made you fall asleep

The Hobbit. The print was way too small and my eyes were too tired to understand what a hobbit was and why dragons existed. Little Women was alright, I felt like I had achomplished nothing by the end of it.

    What makes a good teacher...

I had an EPIC science teacher last year, my science marks improved by 20%. He was incredibly epic, and awesome. I also had an equally epic maths teacher last year, marks went up by 18%. Good teachers: listen to you, are organised, have a solution to your problems, give you lots of relevant...

Marriage - really the 'best fit'?

:O Children having divorced parents are just as human as those whose parents stuck together. If you want a marriage to last, and so does the other person; then you will need effort, time, and lots of this love thing that is being overused nowadays. Alcohol and affairs aren't the only reason...

    need help

So you have to do vocal or guitar for both the solo and the group? Or you just have a choice in the solo? Flip a coin. Several times. But do which one who think you will be better at or you will get higher marks or you will be least likely to stuff up. Or even the one you can practice for...

What do you think about these subjects?

I think you should do VA, because you have to be REALLY serious about Drama to do really well (so I've heard) and you're doing great in both of VA and Drama, so really whichever one you personally think you will enjoy better, get beter marks or whatever you want out of year 11. I personally am...
