Are there jobs in the biomedical engineering industry?

The biomed industry is currently small in Australia. DO NOT under any circumstances do biomedical engineering by itself. That's really risky. I strongly recommend that you do an engineering degree with good job prospects such as software/computer/mechanical/electrical/mechatronic, get good...

    Recommendation for stationary: (pens)

I used various pens with rubber grips. That made me write a bit faster compared to the ubiquitous PaperMate Kilometrico M. That was for me though. I strongly recommend that you try different pens and see what works best for you.

What will happen when oil runs out?

This is what might happen if oil runs out, assuming if alternative fuels cannot be mass manufactured: Any country which relies heavily on oil exports for their economy such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Russia, Venezuela, Libya, Iraq, Iran, Bahrain etc will be bankrupted. The elite flee to the...

Best number of units to have for HSC

I did 10 units. It enabled me to focus all my study into 5 subjects whereas if I did 11 or 12 units, it would 'spread' myself out. I didn't care too much about a safety net as I did reasonably well in high school. I would NEVER consider 14 units because I believe it's too much and that would...

My results did reflect my expectations...I just wanted 95 + ATAR and Band 6's for all subjects except English. ALL ACHIEVED :D

HOW to get into medicine/dentistry without doing UMAT+interview

    1) JCU does not require UMAT 2) If you're really rich, then fork out a shitload of money for Bond University 3) High GPA + high GAMSAT + interview for postgraduate medicine and dentistry 4) CSU offers dentistry which doesn't require UMAT 5) If you got 99.95 ATAR (which I greatly doubt you will...

Chemistry (most and least favourite topics)

I don't like HSC science in general. Too much focus on history. Nobody f***ing cares about that in uni.
