Thanks for all the responses so far!
And I should probably edit that bit about it being unprecedented. Turns out there has been a handful of studies which have been conducted of a similar nature and topic. :o
So far I have 30 pages of handwritten notes for legal (crime) and I'm only up to Penalties(1/2 of Crime syllabus). Law and Society better be heaps short.
I'm also having trouble figuring out what an literature review actually entails. I guess it's mostly the basic layout that worries me.
Should we assess each peice of secondary information separately, or should we combine and summarise what we know from studying a heap of secondary sources?

Re: Full School Rankings
Hahaha. THE international.
I so feel sorry for you for being right after her. She makes everyone else who received an award look stupid.
We can do it!
Also, lol @ your sig.
Ha, yeah, I was only being sarcastic. :p
Yeah, it's 90.
Though if you receive a band 6 in Legal Studies, they'll award you 5 bonus UAI points. Hence you can get in with 85UAI minimum.
UoW also offers Law at 90.
Wow. You've done heaps of productive work. Imagine the list of things you can complete throughout the summer if you keep that up.
I also plan the days I chose to go out. Its frequency is just alarmingly high.
Some of you people scare the hell out of me.
I've been doing... Not nearly enough. Probably been going out too much.
Hoping to finish catch-up notes and all homework before the end of next week.
Economics and Legal Studies are taking up so much time. The Crime syllabus spans out onto 4 pages...
I sure hope so. At the moment it's just a backup plan, in case my marks somehow plummet during the year.
And congratulations on your UAI! I'm very envious.
We had the same thing at our school :)
I ended up getting it... Even though I thought there was someone else who was more deserving. Oh well. :p
I'm not sure if I will be going to UWS in the future, but the $500 "study grant" sure is going to come in handy for the summer holidays
This is a 2004 thread :/
My study pattern during prelim was not consistent. On some days I did zilch, and during exam week I studied from 4pm to 3am. It entirely depended on how much work I aimed to have done and my other non school related engagements.
But I would suggest no more than 3...
Have you tried options such as tutoring?
And I suggest that you think long and hard about what you're going to do.
I know of several people who have dropped to Standard but have regretted their decision.
