Re: Need urgent chem help It could but it'd be a lot more work than just to make another set of NaOH solution and then to standardise that, because ur gonna need quite a bit of it for the acetic acid if i'm reading it correctly

Suggestions for a good asian economy?

China or India would be fairly decent places to look into, since their economic growth is quite high, i guess there's an avenue to argue that they traded their QOL and Environmental quality, but they'd be quite common as other would look into it as well. You can try South Korea, i'd say that it...

    The Effects of Currency Speculation?

To my understanding other members may be more familiar with its role, When your speculation currency it's like the futures market your hedging for something to happen, so lets say USD>AUD in value, i'm speculating that the aussie dollar is going above parody against the green back (USD) in the...

Drying the conical flask during titration

Umm doesn't need to be dried so long as you've washed it well with distilled water, the water doesn't change much tbh cause u still use a wash bottle to wash down the sides of the concial flash during the titration

Can i enroll at two different universities at the same time?

Not necessarily it really depends, likewise if someone enrolled in one course then gets accepted to another and enrolls in that but forgets to un-enroll from the first one, they are charged hecs from both sides so it may be possible, but the whole thing is questionable. Have you tried Usyd i...

Can i enroll at two different universities at the same time?

I don't think i've heard of an attempt, but i think technically it should work since if you're still enrolled and paying hecs in both uni's but it might be hard with exam period if both fall during the same time or there is a clash

People don't know HOW to learn.

It think it's fair to say the HSC is a broken toy in some peoples eyes, however i believe even with it's flaws it continues to run because it caters to a wide spectrum of learners and not the ideal teacher

People don't know HOW to learn.

I'm quite sure people will agree you can't teach someone an emotion, similar you can't tell someone this is how to learn, although it could be this is the most efficient method to learn, but ultimately the individual has to develop their own method to learn whether that to be rote learn or to...

Help! Difference between Separating Funnel technique and Solvent Extraction

Ummm separation funnel is used when you have 2 liquids of different density that are immiscible like water and oil. I don't know what you mean by solvent extraction unless that's another name for distillation, in which case this will work provided that both liquids immiscible/miscible have...

What happens when you dissolve phosphpric acid in water?

I don't think in an exam scenario they'll throw something like the moderates it'll be more clear cut with the strong and weak, because the moderates can be argued either they produce a moderate/ strong or weak depending

What happens when you dissolve phosphpric acid in water?

I'm quite sure that a weak acid dissociated creates a strong conjugate base. But to an extent it can be argued that they don't fully dissociate so it's sorta a blur tbh

    2013 Federal election

Re: 2013 Australian Federal election Hahah i wish they'd be no tax but i think what the government needs is a different approach to the problem as opposed to just slapping a tax on the people that make the most money. In a sense they're sorta like robin hood at the moment, but i'm saying that...

    2013 Federal election

Re: 2013 Australian Federal election I actually think the tax is a waste of time if anything they should try to encourage the miners to take on more workers, increasing the amount of employment opportunities removing people who are able to work from the dole and therefore increase a stable...

    Chemistry Questions

Re: Buffer solution question For the first part it would be true if you are saying that the pair is a weak (acid/base) and it's corresponding conjugate. Use human blood buffer (H2CO3/HCO3-). If however strong (acid/base) and is used say (HCL/Cl-) it is not a buffer. Reasons everythings about...

Is UWS really as bad as everyone gives it credit for??

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned the UWS med program, it seems that even as long as the course is high enough it's immune to the beating or the stigma that UWS is bad. But in all seriousness a lot of people elect other uni's because they can, if per say the following year everyone decided...

    Dilemma

Well 5-10 minute difference isn't that big of a gap so i wouldn't use distance as a really big factor. Second which one would you want/enjoy more because at the end of the day you still need the grades to transfer. If you take the gap year what do you intend to do after or during, lol the...
