- find some funny/weird cases which you could link to public and private law. and ask the students to match the cases with either public/private law
- find some videos
it wasnt very interesting when i learnt it. just textbook reading if i remember correctly:sleep:
there is one
http://www.sciencepress.com.au/component/virtuemart/details/348/45/business-studies,-legal-studies-and-economics/dot-point-hsc-business-studies-revised
Do both. Dot Point sometimes makes a question too specific, so answer the questions which your school has covered.
Answer the questions without notes. The ones you cant answer, use your notes to answer them
The Prelim one is "coming soon" according to the 2nd page of the hsc business studies book.
Try the textbook questions, and ask your teacher for past papers from last year.
The UN has established:
- UN Declaration of Human Rights (Legal)
- International Labour Organisation (Non-legal)
- UN.GIFT
for effectiveness you'll have to go over each one and assess if they are effective or not. talk about the principle of state sovereignty etc
I like the study guides for business studies and legal studies. the maths ones (3U/4U) arent too brilliant, the pages are cramped up with writing.. i'd rather read from another textbook
Look for cases that set precedents for future cases.
An example could be The Queen v Tang [2008] HCA 39 (28 August 2008), a case which defined the meaning of human trafficking and slavery. i think thats right
hope it helps :)
