Haha went same school as you (graduated 2014). And that year, for our 4 duxes, we actually had two go to UNSW medicine, one go do b economics at usyd (iirc) and one do b actuarial studies / b commerce at unsw. so this year was a shift from last few years, where we mostly had all 99.95ers doing...

Thanks so much VBN, but this question was in a section before augmented matrices and the like... Like only the topic of "introduction to linear equations" had been introduced before this Q popped up. so then is there a method that doesn't use matrices (not learnt yet, in terms of this Q) etc?
Cases like yours (i.e. highly ranked students at low ranked schools) are always tough to predict. But if I had to hazard a guess, I would probably say between 88 and 91.
