hi, could someone enrolled/previously done this unit please let me know what assessments there are for POL167 eg short essay, exam etc etc
and who the lecturers are?
i'm thinking about changing into one of these units so any help would be greatly appreciated :D
alphabetically...
AHST101, ENGL107, EUL101, EUL201, HIST114, HIST243, HIST253, HIST270, PHIL134, POL167, POL168 and POL264
at the moment i'm enrolled in HIST270 and EUL101
but if you can shed any light of any of those units that would be great :D
haha yeah true but i still haven't enrolled properly cos there's so many units that look pretty good, my first weeks going to be a rush running aroung getting all the unit guides
thanks everyone :D
yeah i assumed it was just 'inactive' during the holidays since new units usually appeared within a few days when i added them during last semester
gah i wish they'd update though, would be really helpful to see the unit guides so i can decide units already lol
they had an info session for us B IntSt students last semester as well... from what i remember they're changing the program for all IntSt so that the internship is now 2nd year and exchange is 3rd year, so it looks like the changes will be affecting old students (at least 2009 starters) and 2010...
some of my units aren't working on blackboard, is this because the unit webpages are being updated? and how long should it take for new units to be added?
yeah that's what I meant, does it appear as 'B IntSt (Hons) in Pol'?
Cos y'know.. without Hons being added to the title no real point in doing honours right? :santa:
....
I have an actual question, if they're introducing a B int Rel is it likely there will be some new/more united in...
oh cool... to continue with the trivial 'namesake makes a better degree' idea I might as well ask: does it appear on the degree name though like the BA (Hons)?
I agree with Peartie, essentially it's the same thing.. the only reason I picked IntSt/LLB over Arts/LLB was because it meant less planning on my behalf.. you can't do honours for IntSt though, if that has any bearing on your decision
well considering it's not stopping first years taking 3rd core units.. i'm gonna go with it's pretty stupid
ah well i figured i've got til census date to work out if i can cope or not :D
yeah i'm doing instd/law
i enrolled for now, and i checked last years unit outlines
the assignments are much longer
but the theory seems straightforward enough, or at least not insanely complex
has anyone done this unit?
if so is it hard/how much harder is it than say 1st year POL units?
i'm guessing standard of assessments etc is much higher, anything else?
