I forgot to mention, you also need to pay a monthly franchise fee. I guess it depends on where the business is. I have known someone who does really well without a franchise name. No $ 18 an hour is not too bad. $40 an hour is even better. HEHE! YEh . it would be better to get more experiences...

Frankly, who knows what is going to happen in a few yrs time. This thing is affecting all industries. I guess you got to also think the career you are going into is really something you want. Eventually, the economy will come around then at least you are not stuck with a wrong career choice.

Yeh, but that is still a lot of money. Ususally, pharnacy wholesaler will also come to the party & do some sort of gurantee on the loan. However, I think the banks are not as generous as they used to be.

I have applied pharmcy at both Usyd & CSU too. Yeh I would certainly hope to get into USyd. However, I will still be happy if I could go to CSU as I really want to do Pharmacy! Did anyone go to the info day yesterday? Apparently, they said the UAI cut off this year is around 93 like last year.

I do work in a pharmacy every now and then. Depending on your age & experience, I think it would be between $10 to$15 per hour.

The only problem I think is there will be quite a few ppl thinking of doing the same thing. It will certainly be very competitive. Also, I just wonder if USyd will give preference to applicants for internal transfer.
