    STAT Results

Tbh I find this all highly unamusing and a lot of BS on the marking scheme. Now I know that Verbal counts way more than Quantitative. Shouldn't they be fucking equal? 163 was better than 82% so.. you were close. Thats so bs. More bs. Seriously. I got: Verbal: 153 (yeah shit I know)...

    desperate frontline help :(

Wow. If you have watched it and you don't get it, you must be quite dull. I watched it once and I don't even do this :S and it's easy :S ' there is no truth, there is only perception' This is based on the previous HSC syllabus and it's quite easy :S 1/ The Media group does not put out FACTS...

The main link between the two texts... well there are like 3 that I know exist but forgot 1 of them. - Gender Inequality - Interuptions You base the issues that the two writers talk about in their texts with one major focus. As in: You talk about "The Subjectivity of Truth" under "Gender...

a room of one's own/who's afraid of virginia woolf

Mixed School and I have to do this crap == It's all values tbh. They have nothin to do with each other, and Edward Albee actually said in an Interview that he got the name of the book off a grafiti'd toilet. The only relation they have together are the similar topics in that values concept crap...

    Reactivity of Ethylene

Trebela is right about the sigma and pi bonds but REALLY All you need to know, for a Band 6 answer, is that it has a reactive double bond.

    MX2 difficulty...

The teacher will only go so far as explaining the topic, whether it be complex numbers, poly, or whatever. It's up to YOU to work THAT hard to get THAT mark. It's hard, but if you are gifted, it's an easy good subject. VERY fun too!!

    Economics teacher gone crzy!!!

Our case study had a minimum of 2500 words. Mine turned out 3200~ Most did around 4000 words easily and around 3 or 4 students got around the 5000 range. Obviously they got 100%, not because they wrote a lot- it's because they are the NERDS DAMMIT

It's just about your understanding of the text. So make up your mind on what it's about and spill it out.

Do Chemistry and Food Tech relate?

There are a few intercontextual references to each other. Like in Food Tech, they might say, pH of food, and then you know what it is from Chemistry, but really, I do both, and they don't compliment each other at all. Maybe it's because I love Chem and hate Food, although the classes are much...

    Cube Roots of Unity

That's true, but that's not really valid is it? They would think: wow this guy is a smartass... WRONG If you just show w33 = "whatever" is a complex root, then find (w3)2 = "whatever2" and then "whatever"2 SHOULD equal "whatever2" Bad example tbh. I just relearnt this like a week ago, forgot...

    Bullshitting Statistics/Graphs

It's really easy to bullshit when it's a country like Egypt or something where teachers aren't sure as to the country's economy. But SOME economic teachers might shit all over you for bullshitting statistics. But tbh, it's not in the syllabus or the marking criteria that you have to get the...

Searching for a specific teacher... [Chemistry]

Hey guys, there is a certain teacher who previously taught at Pre-Uni Homebush for Chemistry, and ONLY to Year 12 students. I forgot his name... Mr Siscoon or something or rather. My cousins had gone to him and gotten decent results. Recently, I had called them up and they say that he is no...

    Intuition Education - Epping

For 3u Maths, one of the teachers named DJ is quite good :D He also teaches at James An Blacktown, so if it is closer... then yeah ;) Intuition teachers are the sort that go REALLY fast with the topics and review later. Personally, that's how I like it. I'd recommend Intuition because of DJ...

Yeah the Further Questions in Cambridge are damn gold. I don't find the exercise questions in Cambridge hard though :S Maybe try the Fitzpatrick book? Or Patel's first to help you learn the basics.
