General Thoughts: English Advanced Paper 2 (Modules)

Module A: 7 pages - fuck I hate Richard III. I just made up all my techniques. Module B: 9 pages - pretty sure I aced this..or came pretty close. Module C: 8 pages- I thought 'provocative' meant sexy? EPIC FAIL. I write fairly small as well, so was pretty impressed by my page-ness. Can't...

HSC '09- the most paranoid year.

No obscure text types. Fairly straight forward essays. No ridiculously specific related text. No specification of one poem for prescribed texts. We are so, SO paranoid.

Did anybody not write a short story?

I think it's because most people's capacity to write poetry is limited to 'teenage angst' themed stuff. Too many people misinterpret the medium. Anyway, at the end of the day, if your sonnet was tops, you'll get good marks.

Extension 1 Essay: Have they ever...

Once again, like in Advanced Module C (for those doing Hughes/Plath) it is POSSIBLE, but very, very unlikely. Although I guess that after Paper 1 asking for only one related text, it's really up in the air..?!

    Cloudstreet Question?

I know!! 'enduring characterisation of Quick' 'intense human relationships' I did Cloudstreet study last week, and after a preliminary bout of sickness, I decided that all I could do was really know my three 'perspectives/readings' as well as possible. So i wrote like a master sheet of...
