No it won't. Resolve this issue now with your teachers. Once you sign up for 4u, your 2u mark is completely irrelevant.

    Is This Year's HSC Easy?

My thoughts: English Adv P1: moderate-hard English Adv P2: moderate MX2: moderate MX1: easy but yeah, there's some selection bias here. Everyone who's on this forum presumably cares about their schooling and results.

Anyone think they got full marks overall?

    Parents overeaction?

The priority in year 10 should be to understand all the content to a high degree, so you have a solid base for years 11 & 12. You don't need to study 4 hours a night to achieve this. Depending on who you are, you don't need to be studying at all.

    Q14

Nooblet94 are you sure there are 2 cos(alphas)? If you differentiate dr/du via chain rule, the cos(alpha) inside the brackets will differentiate to a -sin(alpha) outside.

    Q14

66.95<= @ <= 75. Solving for x inside the range gave you two solutions because sin(@) = sin(180-@). Taking the intersection of these regions with the range provided by the y-limitation (x >= 50 or something) gave you the above solution. For bi), use cos rule and Pythagoras to solve for r...

    General Thoughts: Mathematics Ext 1

For the projectile, 66.97 deg <= @ <= 75 deg. For the rates/plane, the first part could be proved using cos rule and Pythagoras, and for the second part I got something that looks like $ $\frac{10800 - 30 \sin \theta}{\sqrt{901 + 30 \cos \theta}} $ $ Though I might have gotten the signs or...

Is that the C(t) = 0.3 question? It was 22.7 iirc.

t = 1.511s. Subbed it in, it works. I'm gonna kick myself if there's a smaller solution.

    Q11

Re: General Thoughts: Mathematics Ext 1 Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuckfuck. n has to be a multiple of 4. Goddammit. Because k = 3/4*n and k has to be integral. ARGH.

    Q11

Re: General Thoughts: Mathematics Ext 1 I got 'n must be a multiple of 3'.

Too easy. Especially following the difficulty of 2010 and 2011. Expect plenty of 100's.

    Help In Understanding.

The fuck? I found mid-to-late 90's trivial. Across 1995-1999 I was finishing half an hour early and getting consistent 98%+s. Then 2000 kicked my ass, and everything recent has been a struggle to even finish all the questions, not to mention avoiding silly mistakes.
