I think I'm prejudiced against you too, I actually found the whole narrative offensive, hated it. You might need to rethink how you write and what subjects you are writing about.

I hate losing in things and I like being able to say I'm better than someone else. Simple as that.

All I want, by the end of the year is to be acheiving >90 in my subjects. I know it may not seem like a big deal for people here but for me that would be awesome. As for ranks: 1st in chem 1st in English 1st in Maths (I wish) 2nd or 3rd in Bio 2nd or 3rd in PDHPE

For a year 11 assignment that is so stupid!! Jeez I thought a jigsaw puzzle was bad for year 8 kids to be doing, its a rather "interesting" assignment to say the least.

Everything you said I agree with entirely, English crosses over into alot of other subjects and to be able to articulate ideas and express yourself is so important in many jobs today and at uni. I voted that it should be counted towark a UAI because firstly its our nations language people...

Believe me its happened before and the kids have even talked about how they had parent help or copied off the internet. For example one kids mum worked in a bank, we had a maths assignment on compound interest and bank loans and that kid got 20/20 and she even said after she got her marks back...

Exams. Kids who cheat, plagarise and get their parents to do there assignments dont get A's. Dont worry there are a few kids like that I know and its funny watching them struggle in exams.

Exactly, they have no idea what they are talking about, sure you might have sleep deprivation for a few days but its worth it.

Exactly, I did my Extension English assessment task the night before. I finished it at 6:30am and I got an A I'm keeping that that system more often!

Man how can you people study so much in the holidays. :eek: Im still burnt out from the exams in the last 2 weeks of school last term. Its a chance to relax for me, until I have to do my chem assignment due 3 days after we come back.:(
