Bio is a shocker for boredom and thats probably why I'm struggling. All the others are fine for me though, Chem and PDHPE I find interesting. If Maths gets boring then I just go to harder q's and English is ok. Bio= :sleep:

If your going to learn it in 4 days make sure you keep revising. You learn something quick you'll loose it all quick too if your not careful.

Re: What is the most important subject? You only say that cause you arent that good at english. If English wasnt compulsary people could come to Australia with very basic speaking skills in English and get UAI's of 100. Thats why 20% of the Assessment marks in English have to be a speaking...

Our teacher has cambridge and we also use it cause the questions are much better in it than maths in focus.

Maths in focus is a pretty bad textbook. There is loads of 2u work in it basically so schools dont have to buy 2 textbooks for their 2u and 3u students and kids are going to be doing both mathematics and extension 1 maths. We use maths in focus and I hate it with a passion :vcross:

Re: Half Yearly Results Post Here! All I have gotten back is chemistry: 44/50- 88% and I came 1st. I have a pretty good feeling about all the others except Maths but I'll know next term.

One of them was flicking elastic bands around (cause thats cool in year 8) and one got flicked in the year 11 guys eye. I'm pretty sure that was it. But at my school little kids are treated like gods for some reason, i hate it.

One kid got a detention the other day for telling year 8's to fuck off the other day.

We don't have a legal studies class and all team is made up of year 11 and year 10 kids and we still are a decent team, out of the 2 we have done we have won both of them.

We won our most recent one, it was close and the points were really high for both teams. We should have done way better but our first barrister bailed out the day before so I was solicitor and first barrister for our mock trial. The solicitor on the day just sat there twidling his thumbs while...

There is alot of content in it but following the syllabus dot points and making summaries is helping me heaps. I havent got my exam marks back yet but I got 17/20 for an assignment which was an ok mark. I really like the subject so far, I find it really interesting. How bout you?

I got my extension english mark back for my speech. 25/30 it was a A so I'm pretty happy with that considering I laughed a few times in my speech by accident.... No more exam marks back though :( I'm expecting to fail my 3u Maths Exam.
