student teachers at the most inappropriate times

Could it really be worse? Could it? My class had a student teacher earlier on this year. He managed to teacher far better than our regular teacher. I've just about had it with my teacher >:(

    Favourite airline?

Qantas - despite the unfortunate situations that have occurred recently, QF still remains my favourite airline. Only complaint: they need larger bottles of soap in the lavatories - always ends up empty when I need to use it. Worst: it's actually a QF subsidiary that's out of service -...

    Holidaying in the United States.

V Australia (subsidiary of Virgin Blue) commences service from Sydney to Los Angeles towards the end of the year. From memory, flights start from less than $1000 and include meals and IFE. I went to the US during the Christmas holiday season last year and flew with Qantas - QF107 to New York...

For those planning to compose an anthology of poems for EE2, imagine writing a sophisticated poem once every two/three days... (to meet the target, of course) I can't see myself doing EE2.

What's your fav subject so far?

Biology's good... except for the Australian Evolution of Biota topic Umm... in general, English is decent enough to be deemed as a favourite - you're able to vent yourself through writing - one that cannot be done through other subjects, with the obvious exception of VA. Maths... could burn...

    Beijing Olympics 2008 Discussion Thread

Has anyone heard that the jokes that Sonia Kruger makes on the 'Yum Cha' program (after Sunrise) are scripted? I've only watched the program once, on a Saturday morning, but Kruger can be described, in lack of a better word, a bimbo. I also read that the Ch7 producers have asked Kruger to...

    weirdest food

Not exactly weird... I was at Disneyland (Anaheim, California) and they had Turkey Drumsticks (if that is how you'd describe it) - the size of it was comparable to 5 times of that of a normal chicken drumstick - not joking. Price was USD6.50

What's your fav subject so far?

English Advanced - significant relevance to reality/society. Maths - not so great - not the kind of mathematical person; do not understand what relevance Calculus [and the like] (have not studied yet) has to life.
