    student flights & STA

Random question, but do people actually fly to their destination for a day-trip? Like... all in all, the total travel time, including the one hour pre-departure time, would be a minimum of four hours. It's a shame that DJ haven't installed the Live2Air IFE on the Embrear jets. However, in...

Is this some kind of scam?

This is how I'd think of it: Anything associated with Nigeria is a scam. End of story. I've received dozens of the Nigerian scam letters in my inbox. How did they get hold of my address in the first place?

    Fav/Worst Airport

I'm pretty sure that all passengers are questioned as to their place of residence whilst within the foreign country. This is usually completed through arrival documentation, distributed whilst onboard the aircraft. Upon arrival at LAX, the flight manager reminded all that if the documents (there...

    Fav/Worst Airport

Which airport was that? I know for a fact that international passengers transferring in Canada for US bound flight or passengers travelling from CA to the US clear US customs at the Canadian airport. This is awfully strange, but once this is done, there is no need to clear customs on arrival in...

Looking to buy a Laptop; Should I get a Mac OS or stick with a Windows OS?

Though they are relatively cheap and very compact, you have to question its reliability and whether it's worth the money. If it turns out to be the same as using the school or university's computers, I wouldn't really bother with such a small computer.

Victorians are lonely, whilst South Australians are kinky

I came across this: http://au.news.yahoo.com/a/-/latest/5058930/sex-search-comp-hots-states/ Sex search comp hots up between states October 5, 2008, 8:27 am Victorians are lonely, South Australians are kinky and Queenslanders and people from NSW are just mad for it, according to a survey of...

    Americanised Kath and Kim

I've had a look at the promotional videos on YouTube. Personally, I think it's a failure. Does anyone even watch Kath and Kim? I watched bit and pieces of the Australian version on a Qantas flight a couple of months ago. I guess it's okay...

Looking to buy a Laptop; Should I get a Mac OS or stick with a Windows OS?

No... you should try a Mac before you become anti-Mac. With my Windows PCs in the past, I've experienced problems a month into running the machine. With my iMac, I've only experienced some hiccups, mainly with Firefox with the spinning rainbow wheel frequenting the screen. Other than that...

Looking to buy a Laptop; Should I get a Mac OS or stick with a Windows OS?

The printers that are offered at the Apple Store are HP ones. I've had a look at them, myself. In all honesty, they are somewhat dear, in contrast with department stores that stock them. But then again, you're essentially getting it for free, so I can't really complain about that. Are you...

    student flights & STA

With DJ's Happy House specials, they only apply to selected routes. If you're interested, visit the website between 12PM - 1PM. The specials are usually boxed up and dressed in red. Better yet, subscribe to the online newsletters that the major airlines have. They often have weekly specials...

Looking to buy a Laptop; Should I get a Mac OS or stick with a Windows OS?

You're better off getting it from a certified Apple reseller, such as Harvey Norman, Myer, etc. They often have offers and/or discounts. I bought my iMac with a mere 10% discount. It may not seem a lot, but discounts with Apple products are very rare. Also, I know that Myer is offering free...

    Digital SLR Camera?

Nikon has released a relatively cheap DSLR camera for ~$590. It's obviously not the best, compared with other models - 6.5 megapixels and your standard digital camera specs.

    getting throuhg customs

The only Australian international airports that I've been to are SYD and CNS. Every single bag that comes through SYD are x-rayed, rather than the conventional bag search beforehand.

I had one for one of my subjects. THe student teacher turned out to be able to teach more effectively than our usual teacher. Enough said.

As long as you declare the item, you should be fine. Failure to do so will resort in a fine and warning - thus your name will be noted.

    Korean Air

I don't think that NK and SK will ever reach common ground with their issues. Only time will tell when the next war starts. This time around, perhaps NK will join forces with Russia and God knows what's going to happen. [Here's another set of images that you may be interested in...

    Korean Air

Surprisingly enough, North Korea have their own national airline, Air Koryo. Their only destination city is Beijing which is operated by Russian aircraft. Would you like to visit NK? I would... then again, I wouldn't.
