    How to sleep earli

Me too. I only get 5 hours a sleep a day now, as compared to 8 hours of sleep during Year 10. I think a lot when I get to bed, and sometimes the thinking can carry on for the whole night and I don't get any sleep at all. I think about school, my family overseas, what to do tomorrow, fantasising...

    Parabola help!! 2 questions!

OMG this is so embarrassing. Anyways, I seem to be struggling with two parabola questions: 1) the tangent at P(2ap,ap^2) on the parabola x^2=4ay cuts the y axis at T. M is a point on PT that divides PT internally in the ratio 2:1. Show that the cartesian equation of the locus of M is a parabola...

how hot does it have to be for us to go home?

Never. The best the school will do for the students would probably be to let them sit in an air-conditioned classroom during lunch.

    Hurlstone Selective Yr 8-12 Test

erggh well I have a few friends who took various tests to get into selective schools. For Fort St, you take a Maths and English test, and yes, it is completely different to the ACER test. The test is mainly on skills. For Hurlstone, they conduct a ACER similar test, which usually helps pick out...

Do all schools offer every level of English?

To do Fundamentals of English, you must be a Standard kid or ESL (I think). At my school, we don't offer Standard English or ESL. The majority of people do English Extension 1.
