Oh - I just rang up the HSC inquiry line and found out. So for future cases in case someone is interested - the guy said no, there is absolutely no chance you can end up with a lower mark than originally, if by any chance they gave you too many marks by mistake at first, you get to keep them...

Just some ideas - these are what stood out to me when I read it, but I'm not sure if the outside critical consensus agrees with me... anyway.. - does the title fit the overall tone of the poem? is it ironic that he wanders 'lonely as a cloud' when the whole poem seems to be about the human...

and what exactly do you mean by a "multi-layered" story? do you just mean that you're using multiple perspectives, or are you mixing around text types, or do you simply mean that you want it to be complex and operating on several levels? because you need to clarify that, otherwise it's kind of...

actually it doesn't scale fantastically. english ext 1 scales much better. but ee2 is still pretty good scaling-wise.
