    The Abortion Debate (continued)

You believe that the foetus is living when it's heart starts beating? So how does that relate to my question?

    The Abortion Debate (continued)

Not alive? As in the baby is "dead" while in the womb? That's a miscarriage and nature performs its own method to rid the body of the baby.

    The Abortion Debate (continued)

It's a good way of pointing out that your argument doesn't make sense. What does that even mean? You contradict yourself and it's all over the place.

Five bucks per every essay/short story for the kind of critique I give is a bargain.

    Critique my responses pleaseeeee.....

I'd do it if I weren't so sick of critiquing for free. In other words, show me the money :)

    The Abortion Debate (continued)

In terms of legality let me put it this way: The main goal of an abortion is not "to kill a baby", instead it's about removing the fetus from the mothers body. If there was a way to keep the fetus viable that would be great and I'm sure most people would be happy with that but we don't live in...

UOW, UTS and CSU are the three in NSW that I can think have specific Journalism programs. USyd has the media&comm degree but CSU has a much better program.

the current english course is a waste of time, true or false

It depends on the person. It's a grim view of the UAI system but it's not a system that really encourages learning. I learnt concepts and ideals and didn't fare as well as the memorisation kiddies in the end even if I did beat them at things that required creative thinking throughout the year...

the current english course is a waste of time, true or false

It's not that hard though, especially if you have a good teacher. There are key concepts to learn and from there if you are a fairly literate person it's not that difficult to construct an essay around it. And you are dead wrong, a UAI is not for measuring intelligence. An aptitude test...

the current english course is a waste of time, true or false

If you can't see a meaning in a book what's the point of reading it? The main reason that anyone attempts to slog it out and write a novel is to convey a message to someone. No matter how simple it is, if you find meaning, you've deconstructed the novel. Also, not only does it help you...

the current english course is a waste of time, true or false

That's not true. Authors don't just write stories for the hell of it, they construct stories with layers of meaning and purpose. You don't necessarily need to analyse them so much but you should be able to deconstruct a book in order to understand what the author was getting at.
