the current english course is a waste of time, true or false

Not true. Still adore The Great Gatsby and I studied that in high school. Same with Frontline, A Doll's House and Robert Browning's poetry.

the current english course is a waste of time, true or false

Did you not read the whole post? You need English to communicate in everyday life and you need to be able to write an essay in university. The whole reason it was made compulsory is for the latter point.

the current english course is a waste of time, true or false

    1. Not true. A lot of people beginning the HSC still have little grasp on how to write a cohesive, structured essay. Same with people who have finished it but that extra year helps set you up for university. 2. At least it makes you read. I know people who only read books because they had to...

the current english course is a waste of time, true or false

Correct me if I'm wrong but most if not all university degrees require you to do an essay at some point. If not [and I highly doubt that], they require you to read the English langauge at the very least. I have not had to deal with math at all in any of the classes I've done. Not even...

the current english course is a waste of time, true or false

Unless you're doing a humanities based course. Like me. My maths/science marks didn't count for shit when I got accepted. Also for something like law, why would you need to do any math?

Do you agree with this AWAs/IR Laws bulldust?

So you keep ignoring questions by making statements about peoples personal lives? Nice.

Unis turn away from single entry mark

One thing, an aptitude test is "A test intended to measure the test-taker's innate ability to learn, given before receiving instruction." It's something you can't study for. As such it won't benefit private school students. I doubt the system would break down to that level and I don't think...

    losing weight?

Re: Are YOU trying to lose weight? Eat healthy, exercise and be disciplined. If you feel you've eaten too much "good" food then exercise more. All about balance. Plus, don't classify foods as bad or good.

I used an article on him from Forbes. Most of the work relating to his case is very good for Telling the Truth.

    BOS Showcase: 2007 Major Works

I decided to read through the two poets work and see what the newest crop of poetic kiddies are doing. I wasn't surprised. That's not an insult, just something I've observed over the past two-three years of reading local teenagers work. The formatting thing kind of detracted from the read in...

Looking your age when you're little

They're all over the place. I know there's one in the city and Chatswood Chase. Depends on how much you're willing to spend as well. I don't think you'd have much trouble finding a cocktail dress if you went around Pitt St mall or somewhere like that. Less likely to find a unique dress out in...

Don't know, don't care. The woman writes McFiction, if this is for an assignment don't use her.

Looking your age when you're little

Chic in Chatswood or the city does small sizes. Most boutiques do as well, not so much Harts or whatever. Review has some great cocktail/formal dresses in size 6 [I got my formal dresses from there].
