It completely depends on how well you do in each subject. The scaling only affects those doing average in the course, so if you do really well in say a 'very low scaling subject' (eg. Visual Arts), you will still be able to get 95+ UAI. As for what types of marks you need for these...

Hey guys, I just went on SAM... and I found that it says I'm class of 06, when I'm really class of 07. (and gives me a link on 'Discuss your results in the class of 06 forum.' Would that affect anything? like the SAM calculations? Or does it say that for everyone else? I'm just really confused...

Well, since you've also mentioned it, what is the difference between liberal studies and liberal studies (international)? Of course by that I mean excluding the part where the int'l degree needto have at least a semester overseas and a 75+ average (I think?), and the huge almost 15 UAIs apart...

Hey, umm I was just wondering how come in 05 & 06, you did economics & social sciences, and then in 07, you're doing commerce (lib studies). Is that because you transferred this year? (Excuse me if I sound stupid...) And what exactly is the difference between economics and commerce?

I know a friend who got 89 that is doing commerce at UNSW this year... when I first heard it I was like "OMG WOW I wish that happens to me!!" But then later I found out it was actually the Commerce (hospitality, management and tourism) or something, which requires a minimum UAI of 88 this year...

So far, it's P&C and binomial theorom. Our school's slow, so we're not up to SHM yet, and projectile isn't hard, I sort of like it.... :o

I had thoughts of dropping extension maths just before the HSC a while ago, simply because 3U maths helps me with certain works of 2U... it makes my life easier in 2U... but I don't know if I really want to drop it now, I'm starting to like 3U xD
