I thought the amount of peoples who received a certain 'rank' is in relation to the overall amount of people in your grade that is doing the HSC? So that's why the amount of 100's each year is different...

The courses listed on the UAC site at the moment (if you go through 'search') are those avaliable to mid-year intakes, and I'm pretty sure that BDM isn't taking any students mid-year. So wait for a couple more months when UAC open up the applications for semester 1 2009, you'll have that course...

BA/BSci at UNSW is 4 years, not 5. And plus, you can always do a geniune arts degree in your first year and then transfer after 2nd year. You can completely mock the B.Intl Studies in your first year arts degree and have a full credit transfer in your 2nd year, so you have wasted no time. :)...

I actually find kanji rather simple... since I know my Chinese... and it's just the same, like they mean the same, they look the same... and even pronounciation of most kanji's are similar to how you pronounce them in Chinese....... So maybe doing Japanese with Chinese maybe a good combination x]
