    Trial Question

+1 to what the other people said, but you won't often get a question so vague. Usually it will allude to a specific technology/technologies, often semiconductors or superconductors.

    HSC Music 2

I didn't do music 2 but I'm pretty sure that in this context, 'classical' means a similar thing to 'art music' (ie 'serious' music) rather than specifically from the Classical period.

How hard is 2U Math in Year 11/12 compared to math in Year 10?

    Help me decide :P

Give 2U maths a try; if it really doesn't work out then you can drop to General. But if you don't like maths and certainly are not going to do a STEM course at uni, then consider doing General in both years 11 and 12. Matrices question

What's getting me is that we need to use the n=2 case in the inductive step, but (as far as I see) there's no guarantee that the statement holds true for integers for the n=2 case (like, what if all the entries of M are irrational?)

Kingofacting has helped me to prove this for real numbers a_n and b_n, but not integers... can someone shed some light?

    need suggestions plz

+1 to all of the above. Just focus on doing well in the subjects that you're doing; no point doing extension subs if you're not going to do well in them.

For (a), use the fact that distance = speed*time to figure out the distance of each family from the intersection. Then use Pythagoras' Thm to calculate distance between the two families For (b), differentiate the equation in (a) wrt t, and find the value of t which will give a turning point...
