i went to the open day yesterday, had a look in Burgmann College, didnt get to look at the others cuz some problems >.<
anyways.... Burgmann College looks nice, but i sorta prefer Self-catered.
UniLodge is definitly not the place for me....
there other 2 choices i have are FENNER HALL...
the area enclosed between the parabola x^2=4ay and its latus rectum is \frac{8a^2}{3} units^3
a solid figure has its base in the xy plane, the eclipse [text]\frac{x^2}{16}+\frac{y^2}{4}=1[/tex]
cross-sections perpendicular to the x-axis are parabolas with latus rectums in the xy plane...
many of u may have seen b4 those excel study guides, one per individual prescribed text, such as "Billy Elliot","Romulus My Father" etc..... ....
just wondering, any1 know were i can find a list of em? cuz im looking for 1 on Maestro ( prescribed text for std english )
When (3+2x)^n is expanded in increasing powers of x, it is found that the coefficients of x^5and x^6 have the same value. find the value of n and show that the 2 coefficients mentioned are greater than all other coefficients in the expansion
i got n =23 ( would be nice if u can check for me...
find n
n\binom{n-1}{1}+n\binom{n-1}{2}+.....+n\binom{n-1}{n-2}>20 000
My working:
n\binom{n-1}{1}+n\binom{n-1}{2}+.....+n\binom{n-1}{n-2}
=n ((1+1)^{n-1}-2)
n ((1+1)^{n-1}-2) > 20 000
what do i do now? or did i get wrong?
suppose that
x^3-2x^2+a=(x+2)Q(x)+5
where Q(x) is a polynomial find the value of a
my working:
let x=0
LHS = a
RHS = 5
therefore a = 5.
but the answer is:
reminder theorem p(-2) = 5
-8 - 8 + a =5
a = 5+16
a = 21.
so yea.... WHERE THE FUCK DID I GO WRONG? i believe there are more than 1...
the idea came to me recently that i want to have something like an interpretor to go with my eco degree... i did a search and only UWS and ANU offers bachelor of Translation. obviously UWS is shit... so i did some more research about ANU's couse. and found that bachelor of Translation falls...
a particle of mass m falls from rest under gravity in a medium whose resistance is mkv. where k is a constant. taking the initial postion as the orgion and the x axis downwards. prove that:
velocity v at time t is given by v=\frac{g}{k}(1-e^{-kt})
the distance x fallen in time t is given by...
