Hi, I've been thinking about changing from comm/law to something else/law and was wondering if this can be done before semester 2 in first year or after first year or say after second year and if it can how do you get credited for the first year subjects in your new degree if you did commerce...
In terms of information relevant to the 5 syllabus questions and ease of access to it and possibly interest factor which historian would you say is the best?
Options being such as Marx, Ranke, Hobsbawm, Bede, Thucydides etc.
So what if, like mine, all the classes have like 6 people in them and i come 1st or 2nd in internal marks...does that mean I am benefitting seeing as it is easier to come 1st or disadvantaged cause I didn't beat that many people
Re: Better off to do standard unless 97%+
soooo... it is true that advanced ppl would be better to do standard....unless everyone did and scaling totally changed because someone getting high band Bs in advanced could pwn standard?
I got a uai calculator the other day and apparently...this is in 2005 but surely it hasn't changed much, but if u get 70+ in standard, your scaled mark is better than if u get 70+ in advanced.
Now for standard english ppls perhaps there arent that many ppl getting in 80s but if advanced ppl...

I am doing an analysis on 3 texts relating to imaginative journeys and was wondering if there were any restrictions on the texts that could be used in 2007. Such as texts we studied in the Preliminary year. If anyone knows the answer, please let me know and if there is any link to boardofstudies...
Revise in a month Ancient History and Revise in a month Economics are not listed on the publisher's website or in any bookstores I have been to so I am assuming they don't exist. As for the usefulness of the revise in a month books and whether or not people should get them; that is of course up...
I got my text books for next year today including all the excel HSC guides and revise in a month thingies but wherever I look I can't find excel revise in a month ancient history or economics.
Does anyone have these or know where I can get them.
I went to boardofstudies website and went to HSC Syllabus but the documents I get for each subject seem to be dated from previous years, does this mean the syllabus hasn't changed , am I looking in the wrong spot or what?
My proposal is due this Monday and everything is going ok but I haven't filled in the log book, in fact I haven't even looked at it, the marking/task sheet for the proposal doesn't mention handing it in but I was wondering if anyone else HAD to hand it in with their proposal
