OMG he did that Central Dogma thing too. He's also quite an ass outside of lectures. I also agree with the turning down of the lights. I fell asleep in a few of his lectures last year and would only wake up when he did those random half-lecture quizzes to see if we were listening.

Ahhhh okay. You must be doing pretty good then to be accepted at USyd. I was rejected for the Faculty Scholarships but then they passed me on for a School of Chemistry Scholarship which is the same albeit less money. Congratulations on getting it!

I did the same during HSC. Just lounged around, but I also had a job so yeah. Last year I stayed in Germany for 2 months so I missed out on most of summer. This year I'm going overseas again and when I come back I'm doing my Summer Research Scholarship.

So I hear that they scale them down because they're easier. Is this true? I'm taking GENM0703 for the summer and would like to know.

It's not a subject for everyone though. I was doing it as a GenEd this sem but I didn't really like it and thought I bombed out on the 2nd quiz so I dropped it. Also, this semester they're having some 'cheating' issue so the marks will be delayed and the final exam was worth more than 50%...

MedChem students also follow this program, but she's doing B Science (intl). Anyways, most people waited until their first lecture and asked if they needed it. There are also copies in the library for borrowing. You jsut need to be quick and get them.

From what I've noticed, it doesn't really matter if your one edition behind in textbooks. Most of it is the same.
