Anyone with thoughts on these subjects?
- MANF6860 Strategic Manufacturing Management
- MANF4430 Reliability and Maintenance Engineering
Planning on doing one of these as an elective from what's available next term.
Hahaha I'm in the wednesday one, and yes that's my tutor. Actually learned something from him which is nice.
Yup, that's good advice for people who are going to do 3000 next year, as for me I'm just satisfied with passing all my other courses...
MECH3610 - Advanced Thermofluids
Ease: 7.5/10
Not a bad course per se, this expands on thermodynamics (MMAN2700), fluid mechanics (MMAN2600) and has some things about chemistry (not really hard, basic stoichimetry).
Content: 7/10
I can't really bring myself to like the topics which...
MATH2089 - Numerical Methods and Statistics
Ease: 8/10
I loathe statistics with a passion back from my high school days, so I am quite biased on it. Very, very, very roughly I can say with a confidence interval of α = 0.99 that this course highly relies on memorizing equations, and it is...
MMAN2300 - Engineering Mechanics 2
Ease: 6/10
Acceleration analysis and vibration analysis takes a lot of work and time to do. Instant centers are just impossible for me.
Content: 6/10
Basically, this course is split into two parts; Part A deals with velocity/acceleration analysis...
I read through the summer website and found out that the full fees only apply if you take any courses from the Australian Business School.
"This means that even if you are a Commonwealth Supported student in your program, enrolment in Business School courses over Summer Term will attract Full...
COMP1911* Computing 1A.....70 CR
ENGG1000* Engineering Design.....77 DN
MATH1131* Mathematics 1A.....88 HD
PHYS1121* Physics 1A.....81 DN
Now if only I got an extra 1 mark for my WAM that'd be great
Whoa, that carries over to subsequent years as well? Although I dislike the system, at the very least while I had the lessons in Physics I attempted to make full use of the help from the tutors, so it wasn't exactly a bad thing for me. It's just that after experiencing Maths I am leaning towards...
MATH1131 (Mathematics 1A)
Ease: 10/10 (Calculus and Algebra)
Personally enjoyed the material thoroughly, and I find it worth the time learning the materials in advance. Added fact that I was from an overseas high school for one and a half year (spent year 11-12 here) and my old school...
That's what I would like to know as well. Conflicted between putting something into Friday so that I won't have to 'come' only for that one-hour lecture..is it actually okay to skip a lecture like that, considering that some new materials can be missed because I skipped (is this true?)?
