So I got an offer to Macquarie for the early entry "leaders and achievers" scheme. just wondering if anyone knows whether the offer is conditional or not, cause I know that other Unis only offer conditional (meaning you still have to get a certain atar). can someone clear this up for me?
A lot of my friends have been receiving early entry offers from macq, acu, e.t.c recently. I know I still have time to be accepted but it's just been bumming me out, esp since my yr 11 marks weren't even that bad. Is it bad if I don't get accepted for early entry, and is it stupid to be...
I've bludged these last two weeks post trials (burnout lol). Planning on going full throttle for next 7 weeks before hsc (gonna aim to avg. 8 hrs a day). Have I left it too late though?
same honestly, I have an exam tomorrow and have lost so much motivation which is sucky cause at the start of the year it was going so well. I honestly think its just a mixture of fatigue + lockdown disorientation. hopefully once we go back to school we might find a lil more motivation ig
Yeah, that was one of my concerns, I didn't wanna do a bunch of past papers and end up lost in all the questions. I think I have a good enough understanding of the maths content to just be doing a bunch of questions in order to get prepared for anything. I think with subjects like eco I'll probs...
So I've done around 5 maths papers, 4 modern, multiple essays for each english module (not timed doe) and like 1 past paper for eco (just cause I have a week in between exams before eco so I'm not really focusing on that atm). How many should I be aiming to get through before trials starts on...
Ok so the way I noticed I've been procrastinating is daydreaming, I don't know why but ever since I've started studying for trials my mind has been wandering off every 5 minutes whilst studying, like way too often.
I have a feeling it's because I'm doing more hours than usual, averaging around...
Yeah you're definitely right. I've been trying to do this for a while now by building up the hours I do per night and on the weekends.
Hopefully it works in the end lol
Ever since term 2 has started, I've been feeling really drained after school, struggling to finish basic tasks. Luckily I'm not behind, but I'd still like to get ahead and do extra study where I can. Any tips on how to stay motivated/ not burn out???
This is the first time I’m rlly using one and so far it’s helping me keep on track, although each day it seems I end up completing one less task than I hoped for , its so hard to stay focused now that we’re on holidays
bought a calendar and decided to ACTUALLY use it. I’ve planned a timetable for completing holiday homework and I’ve planned on doing revision for the prelim content in maths adv. :/ also need to finish majority of my multimedia major lol , these holidays sound rlly fun ik
