Usually, they're a thick booklet of articles stapled together, containing weekly readings for your unit. They don't tend to cost too much (compared to textbooks) - around $20 to $40 depending on the unit.

Last exam of the semester. Pretty decent exam as well. Fire alarm goes off halfway through. Exam cancelled. Exam apparently getting rescheduled for sometime in July. FML.
