UNSW maths comps have nothing to do with 4U and 3U. It really depends whether your interests and ability lies in maths - if you think you can handle 3U pretty easily then take up 4U. If you're in it for the "scaling" then forget about it - you probably won't do well in 4U.

get stuck on first question, sit there and stare at paper, get stuck stuck, continue sitting there for 2hrs, then move onto next paper and get stuck again.....etc, until your 40hours is up :P

yeah i know alot of people do finance/actl, but doing a stat may seem to diverse my paths slightly (well a little more:))....maths seems like something thats not REALLY applicable when you go out and get a career...
