    Studying med

I personally found PBLs a massive waste of time and don't remember anything from them except flirting with the pretty girls in class. But all jokes aside, the work in 1st and 2nd year is the building blocks for the clinical stuff you get in the later years, and it really really really helps if...

    Jaded

Why on earth are you worrying about people dying when all we do right now is almost negligible? I would be more worried about that motherf#$king exam on the horizon. And if you're that concerned about what it's gonna be like after we graduate, jump ship and switch to dentistry. How much worse...

    Why Medicine?

Wow that was a monster post above. Yeah I agree with point. You don't need to have people here validate your reasons for getting into medicine - you need the interviewers to. But hey, if typing it out helps you think then all the best to you.

    hsc question chem

    1. Work out the number of moles of NO and O3 involved in the reaction (0.022 and 0.015 respectively in a 1:1 ratio) 2. Use the lower figure from the calculation above - this is your limiting factor 3. Hence multiply the number of moles (0.015) by the volume of gas produced at STP (in this case...

    Chemical Bonding Help

True - but you're talking about intermolecular, not intramolecular forces here. The presence of the double bond wouldn't affect the boiling point because you're not breaking up the molecule. Hence you go with the larger dispersion forces created by the larger molecular weight.
