I was looking in the "good universities guide 2006" the other day, and i saw that the starting salary for a pharmacist is a bit less than $30 000. just out of curiosity, why is the salary so low when its a good/popular course? In general, is the pay for a pharmacist good?

What is the best univesity for engineering? I put down biomedical enginering at Sydney uni as my first preference, but i've been told (NB. by a UTS student...) that only UTS and UNSW are very good for engineering!?! do employers really prefer UNSW/UTS students over SYDNEY engineering students...
