    Do you get Superannuation?

Everyone gets super except casuals, who are supposedly compensated for this by a higher hourly rate. Whoever earn enough money or work enough hours in a week ( I forget the exact way it works) and you can recieve super as a casual by working roughly the same hours as a full timer or part timer.

Advice re:Graduate diploma to masters of commerce

I'm not really to interested in accounting. I prefer a more problem solving and evaluative take on proceedings, hence the engineering background. Whether or not that incorrectly stereotypes the accounting profession I don't know, so I will consider it, although I must admit it doesn't appeal to...

Advice re:Graduate diploma to masters of commerce

Hey all just looking for some advice. I'm currently working full time as an engineer, but I'm looking to head back to uni to study. I've applied and been accepted for a graduate diploma in commerce at USYD, with a view to getting accepted to masters with a 65% or greater average. Which I'm...

    PhD in physics Vs Engineering

Pick whatever university you want to go to and ask if you can speak to a few PhD students about what they're working on and see what interests you. If you're going to put a lot of thought into your future, put a little effort in too. Ring ahead and I'm sure someone can accomodate you.

I bombed out, please help me.

Both unsw and uow have excellent engineering faculties and social aspects. I've been at USYD and love the uni, but you should consider other uni's as well, the strong points of USYD are not unique to it among other uni's. But a transfer is you're best bet, and whoever said USYD was exclusive is...

    PhD in physics Vs Engineering

Go for engineering, that way one day you'll have a paycheque. Besides that glib answer, you'd have to state what field of engineering you thinking of. I don't know about physics but PhD work in engineering is massively diverse. Pick the right field and you can do anything that captures your...

    Compound's electrical neutrality?

A compound is a molecule which consists of two or more species of atoms. Electrical neutrality is a function of charge. The two are unrelated, other than to say most compounds probably are neutral. But it's by no means a fait accompli. Think of a multivalent acid. H2SO4 for example. It can...

comparing engineers with double degree and single degree

You're asking a question here that can only really be answered by looking at your own motivations. I'll share my experience in the matter. I studied Chemical Eng. a couple of years back. There were a number of commerce doubles in my cohort and I can tell you from experience that the majority...

    Industrial Chemistry

yeah, the last question sucked hardcore. they did all wired stuuf. they tested the finge of the syllabus, not what we'd done all year i reckon. it was an easy test, but it was still shithouse. not impressed with any of the scince tests so far.

    physics-what happened to it

physics used to be like 4u maths, like a bloody prestigous subject. i liked that cos i was pretty good at it. then the BOS ruins it by giving out some piss weak "general" physics paper. i thought that was a ridiculously easy paper. im not sayin i aced it cos i didn't study, but it was still an...

    Particle Accelerator

relativity has fuck all to do with it. as the partcile gets faster, mass and spped increase. there fore a greater force is required to hold it in circular path (f=mv^2/r) hence requiring increased B, and as v increases (f=bqv) mv^2/r=bqv mv/r=bq b=mv/qr q and r are constant, and as m and v...

    projectile motion question

seriously, that was so easy that question that it almost stuffed me up. of course lower gravity will increase range, it will take longer to fall to earth, meaning greater range. pretty simple...
