basically parts of ur tongue can only taste a certain flavour... therefore if u put sugar in the back of ur tongue u can't taste it well... that's why u can't taste the sweetness when deepthroating

go get a spoon full of sugar, and put little bits of it on different parts of your tongue

it will taste a little different each time

different parts of your tongue are more sensitive to certain flavours
