but talking in mando/english > talking in canto.
no way, I hate most of canto pop. all of it is so inane.
but then again, so is mando pop. god, I should stop trying to compare chinese artists to bands like the cure. the cure are so cool. so which do you guys prefer? I have this pendulum thing where I swing from one extreme to the other. right now I'm really into radiohead, etc. etc.

hmm yeah they're OK if you want to feel stupid and want to feel continually stupid for the how every many minutes long their packaged, bad bad bad chinglishy songs go for. a song's not a real song unless it's over...I dunno, 4 minutes.

A song can be as short as 1:32 and still make quite a good song.

I currently have Mouth For War by Pantera on. It runs for 3:56, and is completely awesome. Alicia, you're wrong.

Philosophy of Life

1. For most people, the La Parisienne represents the quintessential French woman. She is feminine, self-confident and has a certain je ne sais quoi that leaves everyone wondering what it is she has that other women can't seem to get no matter how hard they try. What is it that you have, that every other woman wants?

2. French Women are described in terms of the Seven “S’s”: Slenderness, Sensuality, Sexuality, Savoir-Faire, Subtlety, Street Sense and Self-Confidence. Which do you think is the most important quality and which do you possess?

Fashion

1. French women dress by the motto " il faut souffrir pour être belle ", you can't look nice if you put comfort first. What is the most essential part of your wardrobe? Lingerie, Shoes, Handbag or Jewellery?

2. What makes you feel sexy?

3. What is your idea of exercise? Pilates, a daily run or a walk the park?

4. What shade of lipstick are you?

5. Nancy Mitford described Paris as a place where you can feel emotions more intensely? Where do you dream of living?

6. What is more romantic? To be kissed at the top of the Eiffel Tower, Alongside the Gargoyles in the Gothic Towers of the Notre Dame Cathedral, or amid the lavender in the Jardin Du Luxembourg?

7. Would you Can-Can at the Moulin Rouge?

Food

1. What is your ideal petit dejeuner?

2. Snails or frog legs?

3. Why do you think French Women don’t get Fat?

Dating

1. Describe your ideal date in Paris?

2. Do you like your boys shaven or unshaven?

3. What is your remedy for a broken heart?

4. Would you describe yourself as a puckish, clever and absolutely charming Amelie? A Simone de Beauvoir, philosopher and feminist, An intellectual beauty like Juliette Binoche or a devastating seductress, Catherine Deneuve?
