I'm not talkign about car magazines i'm talking about proper manufactures statistics, like the statistics displayed in the car broucher (spell?) at the dealership.
Na, that's total crap. It's an estimation. Most car manufacturers actually states that it's a computer generated estimation. That's why many magazines and TV shows try to prove the car manufacturers wrong by doing real life tests.

I think he meant.

"There's no such things as V4's [in a Camry] only inline 4s."

The new HSV Astra is like hot and fast! .... Can't remember, it can beat a WRX in power-to-weight ratio ... something like dat... so I assume it can do under 6 seconds?

Is the Euro R that much different to the standard Euro? I know in Singapore, the Euro R costs about the same as a 320i; and there is no other model of Accord Euro.

ps. I think I've shown you the pics of the Euro R from my last trip right Ciel?

Yep. Totally..

EuroR has the K20A engine.... the one in the DC5R.... just a 2.0L, contrasted to my 2.4L... it has more kws but less torque...

Car: Lancer '96
0-100km: i've never measured it, but it hit 140 in about <80m (between 10 and 12secs prolly), slight downhill incline
mods: none at this rating. after adding a pod filter and extractors, it boosted its power by about 10% and it now does 155 in the same distance. hopefully a bigger exhaust flow will boost it by another 10%.

Car: Corolla '95
0-100km: not sure, but on the same strip the lancer hit 140 on, it only hit 120. and this one is auto...
Mods: has a pod filter and 205s on the wheels.

80m?

well, it CERTAINLY isnt more than 100m, and like i said, slight downhill. if the land was straight i guess it would probably do around 120.

and i hit 185 in the corolla, but it took me a good distance and pothole-less road.

That's quite a lancer you have there...not an EVO by any chance?

Well look at it this way..

You said, you took 10-12secs going on a slight decline to reach 140kmh within 100m.

Can I tell you that, if you are going at a constant speed of 40kmh for 10secs, you will have travelled 111m already?
