my 2c, q 17 I think should be b as c=2x3+5
Also you're answer for 28aiii seems off to me, I got about 33.27 or something (I didn't write this) I think you may have forgotten to divide by 1000 to get fromlitres to kilolitres

Q17
For n students, cost is $(2n + 5).
When an extra three students go, there are n + 3 students.
So cost is 2(n + 3) + 5 = 2n + 6 + 5 = 2n + 11.

Increase = (2n + 11) - (2n + 5)
= 2n + 11 - 2n - 5
= $6

Q28 (a) (iii)
Amount of water saved per day = 6 L per minute x 3 minutes x 5 times
= 90 litres per day
Amount of water saver per year = 90 x 365
= 32850 litres
= 32.85 kL
Money saved = 32.85 x 1.013
= 33.27705
= $33.28

Crap ... thanks Danni.

Interquartile Range = Upper quartile – Lower quartile(or Q3 – Q1)

In the graph there are 800 scores, so the median is at 400, upper quartile is at 600 and lower quartile is at 200.

Upper quartile = 80 (exactly halfway between 75 and 85)
Lower quartile = 45

Interquartile range = 80 – 45 = 35

Answer: C
