but we only have done one semester of afm 1a and one semester of cmi to make that decision. everyone tells me afm 1b is heaps better because there's less book-keeping and more analysis (but with that said i still think accounting is a pretty crappy thing to do for the rest of your life besides the money). you also dont want turtleface getting on your back.

It looks like accounting and finance is very popular.

So whats the scene like for Actuarial Studies? Is anyone other than myself interested?
Is it less competitive since demand is lower?

nope oversupply at the moment and part 3 is shit hard (think of maths olympiad. but worse). but if you can speak mandarin and wouldnt mind a few years in shanghai on the other hand...

All the co-op courses are fairly competitive. They're all good programs. So just apply for the ones that you are interested in.

Co-ops are required to maintain a credit average. Finance requires a distinction average due to the honours component of their program.
