It doesn't.

Broncos just beat Raiders 30 - 19. Missing their stars.

Raiders aren't exactly a great side but I still admire the effort they put in and have caused several big upsets this year. Hunt and Ennis expected to return next week.

I believe we are of equal chance to beat Parra.

Well if you're a supporter of that team, your friends always seem to think it matters.

Oh, and come on Tigers, what are you doing?!?!

i am still not convinced marshall and hodgson can shoulder the burden of winning games on their shoulders, without prince. to me, as exciting as marshall is, prince put the stability and consistency in the tigers and that is what they were missing today. if tigers can somehow sign carney in the team, then god help the comp, they will run over any side. in hindsight, tigers really shouldn't have let prince go. i really rate that guy, almost as much as thurston.

Rabbits had luck + plus Tigers played horrible = Rabbits hammering Tigers.

Fitzhenry is so crap, honestly how does he play at this level?

Tigers defence was the usual pathetic + combine that with all knockons, offsides and penalties - they had no chance.

But there were glimpses of what was capable. But really Rabbits deserved that plus another 4 pts - the ref was shit.

Luckily Tigers play knights next.

Yeah they shouldnt have let Prince go - he is an awesome player. Morris isnt so bad, but nowhere near as good as Prince.

Johns caught in London with ecstasy tablet

Johns caught in London with ecstasy tablet
Alex Brown in London | August 30, 2007

THE former rugby league star Andrew Johns has been arrested and cautioned for possession of an ecstasy tablet at London's Kings Cross station.

British transport police have confirmed that Johns, who was believed to have been returning from the Church nightclub in nearby Kentish Town, was arrested at 4.20pm on Sunday. The Church is a well-known venue for Australian expats and tourists. By accepting an official warning, Johns has in effect admitted to the offence and now has a criminal record in Britain.

Johns was caught in a routine search by local police, who were targeting revellers returning from the annual Notting Hill Carnival in west London. He is understood to have been in possession of one ecstasy tablet. The former Australian Test captain had been holidaying in Britain, and had spent the previous week coaching the rugby union club Harlequins and attending the Challenge Cup final at Wembley Stadium.

A transport police spokesman told the Herald last night that "an Australian man in his 30s was arrested and cautioned for possession of an ecstasy tablet".

Johns will not be charged over the offence and is free to return to Australia. Another similar caution, however, would result in a charge and a possible court appearance, the transport police official confirmed.

Johns retired from rugby league earlier this season, ending one of the most celebrated careers in league history. The Newcastle star had received a succession of head knocks, and medical staff advised him to retire for fear of permanent spinal injury. More recently, Johns has worked as a kicking coach in a consultancy capacity with the Knights, the Wallabies and Harlequins, among others.

Last year, Johns was called in by the NRL's boss, David Gallop, to help young league players negotiate the minefield of temptations available to elite players, following a string of alcohol-fuelled incidents at various clubs.

i hope there won't be a media sensation about this. Johns does some fantastic work with kids and this could really hurt them. Many teenagers aspire to be like Johns, and finding out that he has done drugs could cause them to chase similar behaviour, or at least take drugs and think 'if Andrew Johns does it, it's ok for me to do so'.

He's a grown man, and all it is was a caution. I don't know how the media even got wind of that.

Shocking about Andrew Johns :( Using illicit drugs for a long period of time, and battling depression. At least he had the guts to come forward.

hhahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahhahahahahahhaha!!!!!!!

somehow i think this is how he is covering up the fact that he used ecstasy for personal enjoyment, as he went clubbing. by saying he has been battling depression, he is merely making people feel sorry for him, than blame him.

Funny how he only "comes forward" when he's been caught

lots of anti-johns and anti-knights people are going to have a field day from this. my take on it is thank god he is retired, and good on him for admitting he's wrong. i don't condone what he has done, but give him a break, the guy has retired and the media is still around him like a bunch of wasps.
